Hypothetically Speaking…

This is a fantastic idea that was brought to my attention by The Book Bench. Part-time book designer Charlie Orr has started a site called The Hypothetical Library. Orr takes a real author and a fake book and designs the cover, complete with blurbs and jacket copy. When I first saw the post, I fell for it, thinking this Colum McCann cover was the real deal. Of course the story sounded fascinating. After reading Let The Great World Spin, I was thrilled to read the synopsis. But alas, it will never be written. Read all about it here.
